Weihnachten 2012 habe ich von meinem Mann und meinen Eltern eine neue Nähmaschine geschenkt bekommen. Etwas komfortabler und besser als meine Toyota sollte sie sein und vor allem auch etwas bedienerfreundlicher. Nach sehr langer Überlegung, verschiedenen Beratungen hatten wir uns für die Husqvarna Viking H-Class 100 Q entschieden. Pünktlich zu Weihnachten kam die Maschine zu mir und nahm ihren Dienst auf.

Positiv fiel schnell auf das die Maschine leise ist, ein gutes Stichbild hat und durch Kleinigkeiten wie z.B. Punktvernähen, auf Knopfdruck abgesenkter Nadel und einstellbarem Nähfußdruck das Nähen angenehmer macht. Zudem ist die Maschine recht leicht und dadurch auch einfach zu transportieren.

Negativ fiel erst einmal nichts weiter auf, als dass die Original Unterfadenspule gern bei längerem Nähen anfing zu quietschen. Kurz vor Weihnachten 2013 ging es dann los. Die Maschine lies Stiche aus. Zunächst nur hier und da mal einen, dann mehrere hintereinander. Also Nadel austauschen, neu auf- und einfädeln und sauber machen. Zunächst schien wieder alles in Ordnung, doch leider nicht für lange. Schließlich wurde nur noch jeder zweite oder dritte Stich genäht. Die Maschine war nach gerade mal einem Jahr kaputt.

Der örtliche Service lehnte eine Reparatur auf Grund der Garantie ab, da ich selbige nicht bei Husqvarna Viking selbst auf der Internetseite dafür anmelden konnte. Der Internet-Händler bei dem die Maschine gekauft wurde lehnte ebenfalls eine Reparatur ab, bot aber wenigstens ab die Maschine gegen Erstattung des Kaufpreises zurück zunehmen. Damit ging dann die Suche nach einer neuen Maschine los…

Christmas 2012 my husband and my parents gave me a new sewing machine. It was supposed to be a bit more comfortable and better then my Toyota and especially more user friendly. After a very long search and different advices we finally decided for a Husqvarna Viking H-Class 100 Q. Just in time for christmas the sewing machine arrived and got into service.

Soon postive points were found. The machine was silent, had neat stitches and was comfortable because of little things like saving the seam right on spot, a button to keep the needle into the fabric and an adjustable pressure for the sewing foot. Also the machine was rather light and because of that easy to carry around.

The only down side was that the original bobbin started to squeak when sewing to long. Not long before Christmas 2013 it started. The machine began to skip stitches. At first just one or another, then more. So I switched needles, re-threadened and cleaned the machine. At first everything seemed to be fine again, but not for long. In the end the machine only made every second or third stitch. It was broken, after just one year.

The local service refused to repair the machine based on guarantee, because I had not been able to register it on the homepage of Husqvarna Viking. The internet-shop where we bought it also refused to repair it, but offered to take it back with complete refund. So the search began anew…
